Atlanta Industries Inc. has successfully participated in the very first Philippine Building & Construction Exposition (PHILBEX) held in SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang, Davao City. The event was held from May 15, 2014 to May 18, 2014 and had an overwhelming amount of visitors from the construction industry all around Mindanao.
The opening ceremony was highlighted by Worlbex Services International(WSI) founding chairman Joseph Ang and co-founder Levi Ang. A representative from the office of Davao City Mayor Hon. Rodrigo Duterte was also present to deliver the mayor’s insightful message.
Atlanta Industries Inc. seeks to promote their products in a world-class scale all throughout Mindanao and the whole nation as well. Thus, Designers, Architects and Engineers have been attracted by Atlanta Industries’ displays and impressive booth design showcased by Atlanta.
A major industry forum and technical day to recognize and celebrate World Plumbing Day was held in the Philippines at the Hotel Crowne Plaza, Manila hosted by Atlanta Industries, a leading Piping company of the Philippines & Lubrizol Advanced Materials India,. More than 190 plumbing industry representatives attended the event from the Board of Master Plumbers, the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers and the Bureau of Fire Protection of Philippines. Mr. Manish Jain from Lubrizol an a National Executive member of the Indian Plumbing Association gave a technical presentation on FlowGuard CPVC Hot & Cold Water Plumbing systems and BlazeMaster CPVC Fire sprinkler systems. Following which he played the Video of a special World Plumbing Day message given by Mr Sudhakaran Nair, Chairman –World Plumbing Council, which was well appreciated by all present. Mr. Virgilio Simbulan – Former President of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and a consulting Engineer delivered the key note address highlighting the need for saving water. He also shared the vision of Mr. Sudakaran Nair WPC Chairman as shown in the video presentation.
Mr. Nelson Se, Chairman, Technical Committee, Bureau of Fire Protection of Philippines also joined the celebrations and shared his views on the importance of plumbing for a better society. During the forum, Mr. Jain distributed to those in attendance, on behalf of the World Plumbing Council and Chairman Nair, copies of the Environmental Aspects of Plumbing along with copies of Health Aspects of Plumbing. The celebrations concluded with cocktails followed by dinner, with all guests being appreciative of the support of Atlanta Industries & Lubrizol Advanced Materials India for an excellent World Plumbing Day.
Before the end of 2013, Atlanta Industries Inc. has involved itself with 3 of the countries’ well-known organizations with regards to the construction and piping industry.
For the first time, Atlanta has participated in the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) exhibit, which was held last October 24-26, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay. With its initial entry to the annual convention, Atlanta has proven its quality by setting up an impressive booth design to showcase their latest products. Much given emphasis on was the Fesco 3 in 1 Residential Fire Pump, 25 in 1 Fire Integrated Smart Fire Pump, Blazemaster, Tempipe and the newest addition: The Atlanta Fesco UL/FM Glass Bulb type sprinkler heads.
Shortly after a week, Atlanta has made its comeback as well by again making its presence felt at the countries’ biggest construction event which was Philconstruct held from November 6–9, 2013. Atlanta was visited by enormous inquiries from engineers, architects and contractors nationwide.
The National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines (NAMPAP) also held their Annual National Convention in Lanang, Davao. The convention proved to be a success despite the occurring wrath of typhoon Yolanda. Atlanta has showcased its star products by means of product presentation, distribution of brochures and giveaways.
