Atlanta launches Duratank

April 28-  Atlanta Industries Inc. introduced Duratank, an addition to the Company’s roster of innovative products, to the public last Friday at the One Esplanade Building in MOA Complex, Pasay City. 

Engineers from various industries and businesses attended the event in order to learn more about Duratank and its potential applications. The guests included representatives from various water systems and construction companies.

During the event, Engineer Justine Fajardo, resident technical expert of Atlanta, discussed Duratank's advantages, specification, application, important features and functions. 

During the unveiling, Atlanta Industries Inc. displayed the Duratank, a prefabricated HDPE or PE storage tank suitable for aggressive liquids and sensitive materials. It can be installed vertically or longitudinally, has a storage capacity of up to 30,000 liters that is customizable, and its composition makes it durable and weather-resistant. In addition, the Duratank is lightweight, seamless, and leak-proof, and it has multiple applications including sewage, irrigation, and potable water containers.

The HDPE used in the Duratank poses no danger of leaching and is safe for use with potable water and the environment. In addition, it has UV-inhibiting properties that protect it from sun-induced degradation. Additionally, Atlanta Industries Inc. highlighted the double-walled Duratank, which can be installed above- or below-ground to prevent leakage without the need for additional construction.

Other products that were also launched during the event were the Atlanta Manhole cover made from glass reinforced plastic (GRP); Durapipe, large structured wall HDPE pipe system; Ecopipe, eco-friendly and economical structured wall HDPE pipe, Graf rainwater harvesting solution and Graf wastewater treatment solution.
