Atlanta joins 43rd PAWD National Convention
Together with some 2,000 water district officers all over the country and representatives from different companies in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction, and Services industries, Atlanta Industries, Inc. participated in the 43rd Philippines Association of Water Districts Convention (PAWD) at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino last June 15-17.
During the 2-day event, Atlanta showcased its water and sewer piping system innovations in its booth that drawing a mass of visitors.
Atlanta continues to boast its largest locally produced pipe in the market, known as Durapipe which is up to 3000mm in diameter. Durapipe takes pride in its best-selling qualities such as being durable, time-saving, and cost-effective compared to its traditional counterpart.
The company also grabbed the opportunity to introduce its new addition to its promising product line, Duratank, which can be used as a potable water tank, sewerage tank, and industrial tank. Developed with the best material which is polyethylene, these tanks are non-corrosive and are guaranteed to last for 50 years making it safe for drinking water, unlike their metal and concrete counterparts.
The other water piping systems of Atlanta that were also showcased during the event were Molecor, Aquamains, HDPE Advance Pushfit Compression Fittings, Atlanta Powerlock, and Atlanta HDPE, all of which are the company’s promising solutions for the water and sewer issues in this day and age which is consistent to this year’s convention theme “Water governance towards building a better normal”.
It was also through the event that the emergence of the water industry from the pandemic and the rising demand for potable water because of economic and population growth which thus emphasizes the need for adequate and appropriate water governance.
